About Me

Discover the journey that led me to become a video editor and audio engineer devoted to storytelling.

Hanna Eng

Video Editor & Audio Engineer

Paris, France

After graduating from the Free Conservatory of French Cinema and working as an Assistant Director on TV productions across France and Europe, Hanna deepened her craft on set as both a visual storyteller and video editor, which naturally led to her passion for audio engineering. Her journey took her to New Zealand, where she honed her skills as an intern at one of the country's most renowned studios.

Returning to Paris, she earned her Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering from the prestigious Abbey Road Institute. This diverse background in both visual and audio storytelling gives her a unique perspective on how sound and picture serve creative vision. Hanna is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to enhance audio and video content while preserving the original artistic intent.

My Philosophy

"The best edit and the best mix are the ones you don't notice: they serve the story, not the effect. I come from film as much as from sound, so I work picture and sound in the same hands, never as two separate worlds."

Before I touch a single setting, I listen: the material, the intent, the references you love. Only then do I decide what serves the project and what works against it. No off-the-shelf template applied blind: every project has its own constraints, and those are what I adapt to.

Your Project, Now

Got an edit to finish or sound to fix? Let's talk. I listen first, propose second, and tell you honestly what's doable.
