Travel Video Editor
I cut your GoPro, drone and phone footage into one travel film, grade the cameras to a single look, and clean up the sound. Picture and sound in the same hands.
An editor who makes a film out of your trip, not a template you have seen on fifty other feeds
From a folder of clips to a film worth watching
Your trip is already shot. The problem is the four hundred clips, the wind on the mic, and the GoPro that white-balances itself differently every hour. That is where my job starts: I sort, I match, I tell the story.
I don't edit your holiday like a template, I edit it like a film. I log the footage, keep the moments that carry the story, and grade the mismatched cameras to one look in DaVinci Resolve so the drone, the phone and the camera look like they belong to the same trip.
Sound is half the film. I clean hiss and background noise and tame the wind I can in iZotope RX, duck the music under your voice in Pro Tools, and hold the levels so it plays as well on headphones as on a phone speaker. Picture and sound in the same hands: one person, not two suppliers passing files back and forth.
I don't shoot your trip, you send me the cards. And I won't fake a place you didn't film: I work with what you brought back, and I tell you honestly what can be made of it before we start.

A travel video editor turns the folder of clips from your trip into a film someone will watch to the end. I cut your GoPro, drone, mirrorless and phone footage into one story, grade the mismatched cameras to a single look in DaVinci Resolve, then clean the hiss, tame the wind I can, and duck the music under your voice in iZotope RX and Pro Tools: picture and sound in the same hands, not a one-click template you have seen on fifty other feeds. I don't shoot your trip, you send the cards and I send back the film, quoted per project before I start.

How a Travel Edit Works
From the cards off your camera to a film you actually rewatch
Send the footage
You upload the original files from the trip by file transfer: GoPro, drone, phone, camera, plus any music or voiceover you have in mind. I confirm the scope and the final length, and quote it before I start.
Cut and grade
I log and cull the clips, build the story, then grade the mismatched cameras to one look in DaVinci Resolve. The drone wide that earned its place stays; the forty seconds of shaky walking does not.
Sound and delivery
I clean the hiss and tame the wind I can in iZotope RX, duck the music under your voice in Pro Tools, and deliver the long-form film plus any vertical versions. We refine it together across the revision rounds set in the quote.
Tell me about your trip
Send me the folder and the song you already hear over it, and where you want the film to end up. I will tell you what I can make of it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a travel video editor do?
I take the footage you shot on your trip, often hundreds of clips across a GoPro, a drone, a phone and a camera, and cut it into one film with a beginning, a middle and an end. I grade the cameras to a single look in DaVinci Resolve and fix the sound, so the result holds together instead of looking like a folder set to music.
How much does it cost to hire a travel video editor?
Per project. The price depends on how much footage there is and how long the final film should be, so I quote it before I start, once I have seen a sample. If you want recurring short vertical recaps rather than a one-off film, those can fit my monthly Reels packs on the video editing page.
Can you edit GoPro, drone and phone footage together?
Yes. Mixed cameras are the normal case for a trip. The work is matching them: each one white-balances and exposes differently, often in a flat or log profile, so I grade them to one consistent look in DaVinci Resolve rather than leaving an auto filter on every clip.
Can you clean up the wind and bad audio in my travel clips?
Often, yes. I clean hiss, hum and background noise in iZotope RX, tame light wind rumble where it sits under the voice, and duck the music under your voice in Pro Tools. The honest limit: RX repairs what was captured, it cannot rebuild a voice the wind buried completely, so I will tell you what is salvageable before you pay for it.
Do you also make vertical versions for Reels and TikTok?
Yes. From the same edit I can deliver a long-form version for YouTube and vertical cuts for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, reframed for 9:16 rather than just cropped down the middle.
Do I have to send you the original files?
Yes, the original camera files, not screen recordings or already-compressed exports. You send them by file transfer (a service like WeTransfer, or a drive link) and I work from those. Editing a compressed re-upload throws away the quality and the latitude I need to grade.
