Podcast Editing & Mixing
Clean, even voices mastered to platform spec: editing, RX cleanup and a controlled voice mix, with multi-speaker and remote guests handled.
Mastered around -16 LUFS for Apple Podcasts (-19 LUFS mono), delivered MP3 and WAV per episode. Remote worldwide or on-site in Paris.
Your Voice, Amplified
Bad audio loses listeners faster than weak content. There are three distinct stages and I cover all three: editing (cutting dead air, removing filler words and hesitations, smoothing the flow), mixing (cleaning each voice in iZotope RX for mouth noise, room and hum, then EQ and compression so levels stay steady), and mastering (bringing the finished episode to platform loudness so it sounds consistent on every app).
In practice that means clean fade-in and fade-out on intros, transitions and inserts, voice EQ that adds clarity without sounding processed, and gentle compression so a quiet aside and a laugh sit at the same comfortable level. The technical work stays invisible so listeners stay on your content.
I handle the common formats: solo monologue, two-person interview and roundtable conversations, including remote guests recorded on Riverside or Zoom. When you provide your own sound design (intro jingle, transition stings, music beds), I integrate it cleanly into the habillage so it supports the voice instead of fighting it, for the radio-ready sound professional podcasts are known for.

My Process
From raw conversation to polished podcast
Content Review
I listen to your raw recording to understand the flow, note the format (solo, interview or roundtable) and identify any technical issues such as background noise, clipping, clicks or uneven levels between speakers.
Editing & Cleaning
Editing out dead air, filler words and hesitations, removing mistakes and false starts, and creating smooth transitions with proper fade-in and fade-out so the conversation moves naturally.
Voice Enhancement
Cleaning each speaker in iZotope RX (mouth noise, room tone, hum, clicks), then EQ and compression so every voice is clear, consistent and balanced against the others across the whole episode.
Music & Effects
Integrating intro and outro music, transitions and any sound effects you provide, placing your jingle and habillage at the right level so it frames the episode without burying the voices.
Final Master
Mastering the episode to platform loudness, around -16 LUFS for stereo (the Apple Podcasts recommendation) and -19 LUFS for mono, and delivering MP3 and/or WAV per episode ready for Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer, Ausha and more.

Frequently Asked Questions
What loudness do you master podcasts to?
Around -16 LUFS for stereo (the Apple Podcasts recommendation) and -19 LUFS for mono, so every episode sounds consistent across platforms.
What do you deliver, and in which format?
Platform-ready MP3 and/or WAV per episode, with intro/outro, music and even levels, ready to upload to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer, Ausha and more.
Can you handle multiple hosts or remote guests?
Yes, multi-speaker and remotely recorded episodes (Riverside, Zoom, etc.) are cleaned, levelled and balanced into one cohesive sound.
What turnaround can I expect?
It depends on episode length and volume; recurring shows get a fixed schedule, confirmed during our first call.
Do you edit as well as mix?
Yes, cleanup with iZotope RX, removing mistakes and dead air, and smooth transitions are all part of the process, mixed in Pro Tools.
Do you work from a single mixed file or separate multitrack files?
Both. If you send one mixed track I clean and balance it as best the recording allows. If each speaker is on a separate track (multitrack), I can treat every voice individually, which gives much better control over levels, noise and crosstalk, especially for remote guests recorded on Riverside or Zoom where each person arrives as their own source file.
Why does consistent sound matter for my podcast?
A clean, even sound that stays the same from episode to episode builds listener trust: people stay subscribed when every episode is comfortable to listen to and nothing makes them reach for the volume. Consistent loudness around -16 LUFS and balanced voices are the technical side of sounding like a show people take seriously.
