Wedding Video Editor
I edit your wedding from the footage already shot: ceremony, vows, speeches and party, synced, graded and mixed. Picture and sound in the same hands.
A film of your day, not a slideshow set to a song
From hours of footage to a film you will rewatch
A wedding is shot in one day and edited over weeks. The time does not go into picking pretty shots: it goes into syncing three cameras and two mics, finding the line of the vows under the wind, and fitting eight hours into a film people watch to the end.
I work for two kinds of clients. Wedding videographers who outsource editing during the season and want a film true to their style. And couples who have footage, from their videographer or their guests, but no film.
Sound is half of a wedding film. I clean the vows and speeches in iZotope RX, keep the lav mic when it beats the camera, and place the music under the voices in Pro Tools so every word lands. Picture and sound in the same hands: one contact, not two vendors passing files back and forth.
I do not film your wedding, and I do not promise to rescue a speech nobody recorded. I work with what was shot, and I tell you plainly what we can get from it before I start. Just below is a short-form example, with what it shows and what it does not.
Project highlights
- The whole day logged: getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, speeches, first dance, party
- Cameras and mics synced by timecode or waveform in DaVinci Resolve
- Vows and speeches cleaned in iZotope RX: light wind, hiss, room echo
- Cameras matched to one grade, or to yours if you are the videographer
- A highlight film cut to the music and a long-form film that lets moments breathe
- Full ceremony and speeches delivered alongside the edited film
What you get
- A highlight film of a few minutes, cut to the music
- A long-form film that follows the day
- The full ceremony and speeches, sound cleaned
- A vertical cut of the highlight for Reels on request
- Named revision rounds, set in the quote
A short-form example

This is not a full wedding film: it is a 35-second short, a private commission from 2025, the kind of teaser couples post the day after. It shows the pacing, the choice of moments and the cut to the music. A long-form film, by contrast, follows the whole day over several minutes, with the vows and speeches.
I edit wedding films from footage that has already been shot: your videographer's, or the clips you gathered from the day. I log the ceremony and reception, sync cameras and mics by timecode or waveform in DaVinci Resolve, clean the vows and speeches in iZotope RX, then build a highlight film and a long-form film driven by the music. I do not film the wedding: you send me the original files and I send back the film, scoped and quoted before I start.

How a wedding edit works
From your memory cards to the film you share
Send the footage
You send the original files, cameras and audio, with the order of the day, the moments not to miss and the music you love. I confirm the deliverables and quote before I start.
Sync, logging and edit
I sync the cameras and mics, log the day, then cut the highlight film and the long-form film. The look during the vows stays; the ten minutes of waiting before the entrance do not.
Sound, grade and delivery
I clean the voices in iZotope RX, place the music under the vows and speeches in Pro Tools, grade, and deliver the files. We refine it together over the revision rounds set in the quote.
Tell me about the wedding
Tell me how many cameras and mics were rolling, what you already have, and the film you have in mind. I will tell you what I can make of it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you also film the wedding?
No. I edit, I do not shoot. I work from your videographer's footage or the clips you collected on the day. If you still need someone to film, you need a wedding videographer; I can take the edit afterwards.
I am a wedding videographer. Can you edit for me?
Yes, that is a common setup. You send the footage and your editing references, I follow your style and your grade, and I deliver a film you present under your own name. I work in DaVinci Resolve and tell you up front which format I hand the project back in.
How much does wedding video editing cost?
Per project. The price depends mostly on the volume of footage, the number of cameras and mics, and the deliverables: a highlight film alone is not the same work as a long-form film with the full ceremony. I quote once I have seen a sample.
The vows are full of wind or echo. Can you fix that?
Often, yes. I reduce light wind, hiss, hum and room echo in iZotope RX, and when there is a lav mic and a recorder besides the camera, I keep the best source. The honest limit: RX repairs what was captured, it cannot rebuild a sentence buried under applause. I tell you what is recoverable before you pay.
Can our first dance song go in the film?
In the film you keep for yourselves, yes. For posting on YouTube or Instagram, a commercial song can be flagged by the platform's rights systems: the audio may be muted or the video blocked. In that case I suggest a public version with music licensed for online use.
How do I send you the footage?
The original camera and audio files, not compressed exports. Send them through a transfer service like WeTransfer, or a link to a drive. A full wedding is often several hundred gigabytes, so a drive link is easier.
